Our Programs

Children are natural learners. They are born with a curiosity which encourages them to question, explore, and discover the world around them. Ladybug Childcare & Preschool offers children an opportunity to do this. Activities are based on real life experiences. The curriculum fosters social, creative, physical, and cognitive skills, fulfilling the needs of the child to develop as a whole person.

Ladybug Childcare and Preschool

During the summer months our school takes field trips to the Exploratorium, Fort Mason Community Gardens, the Great Meadows climbing tree, and even Safeway. For the full-day program daily trips to the park and picnics are included. Careful attention is given to achieving the right balance between activity and rest in the context of a warm, home-like setting.

    Ladybug Childcare and Preschool

    Though both programs follow the same philosophy and guidelines there are a few simple differences:

    Ladybugs Full-Day Program:

    • 2-5 years
    • full-day
    • daily nap time
    • lunch and snacks included
    • daily trips to the park

    Ladybugs Half-Day Program:

    • 2-5 years
    • choice of a.m. or p.m. half-day schedule
    • shorter quiet/rest times
    • snacks included
    • outside play yard activities
